Audiences will learn where each animal comes from, what it eats, how it survives and other fascinating (or just plain weird) animal facts. They also will learn about the importance of protecting and preserving exotic animals. Curriculum is always age-appropriate, ranging from age 4 through adult. Most shows average 45-60 minutes and involve approximately 10-14 animals – far more than any other interactive display of its kind.

Animal Junction offers a variety of programs to suit everyone's interests and groups of all sizes and ages. Also, the type of animals and their diversity may be customized to fit the needs and style of your event or classroom learning objectives. Just ask us for information.

On the day of your adventure, your personal animal handler/wildlife educator will arrive at your party approximately 15 minutes before your desired start time. The animals will be in clean and safe USDA-approved travel carriers. Our carriers are kept covered to provide security for the animals and to make the adventure more exciting for participants who attempt to guess the animals' identities by hearing their unique sounds.

The animal handler will be dressed in his or her zookeeper/pet detective attire for your event. They will then make sure that any guest of honor receives the proper "star" treatment and his or her own personal safari hat and Animal Junction pin. Our company also will provide animal tattoos and Animal Junction Pet Detective badge stickers to younger audience members at smaller private events. The animal handler usually will have the guests sit in a semi-circle on the ground or on chairs. The assigned Pet Detective will begin the program by noting some basic rules that are very important when dealing with live animals. Then, on to the real fun – LIVE ANIMALS! The animal handler will show one animal at a time, share fun facts about the animal and point out some of the animal's wildly cool traits.
